Duratray at IMARC 2022

After a two-year hiatus, the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) came back bigger and better last November. For the first time in Sydney, IMARC welcomed more than 750 visitors per day.

The three-day conference saw a record 7800 global delegates from over 110 countries, collaborating on trends in mining, investment and innovation towards a sustainable future of the industry.

Duratray International has been exhibiting at IMARC for almost 10 years and this year was particularly special as the team from Chile, Canada and Australia reunited to represent the company during the conference.

Managing Director Marcelo Medel, CTO Pablo Rossi, COO Canada Ximena Araya, COO Chile Giannella Cigna and Marketing Manager Claudia Sepulveda welcomed collaborators, friends, and past and current clients to the booth.

On the first day, Mr Medel was invited to present for the Chilean delegation brought by the Chile-Australia Chamber of Commerce and Andes METS on Duratray’s journey in Australia as a Chilean company.

Duratray’s toy trucks were particularly popular with guests and 20 of them were drawn to lucky winners.

Duratray International will be again exhibiting at IMARC in October 2023.

Bauma

Only a week before IMARC, MD Marcelo Medel and COO Australia Steve Hall were part of Duratray International’s exhibition at the Bauma trade show in Munich. Bauma is the largest mining and construction machinery expo in the world, welcoming around 3,200 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 495,000 visitors from over 200 countries.

Stefan Rummel, the CEO of Messe München responsible for the event was pleased to say, “This Bauma has again stoked enthusiasm and fascination! After the world fundamentally changed following the last Bauma, we’re really thrilled that Bauma 2022 demonstrates the trade fair remains a powerhouse of the construction-equipment industry thanks to our customer’s great variety of innovations, good business deals and many visitors from all over the world.”

The next Bauma will be held in Munich in April 2025.
