As we wrap up another incredible year at Duratray International, we want to share some of the key moments and achievements that have defined 2024 for us. This year has been filled with growth, innovation, and partnerships, and we could not have done it without our amazing team, partners, and clients. Here are some of our highlights.

One Year at Our New Factory

In September, we celebrated one year at our new state-of-the-art factory. This milestone symbolizes our commitment to producing at the highest quality standards, with a focus on sustainability, operational safety, and continuous innovation. Our facility has allowed us to enhance production efficiency and to keep our promise of excellence to all our customers.

Duratray Wins 2024 INTERMAT Innovation Award

We are proud to announce that our revolutionary Smart Tray has been recognized as a groundbreaking innovation in the mining industry by winning the 2024 INTERMAT Innovation Award in Paris. This accolade celebrates our relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence.

Extending Our Commitment to Quality

We successfully renewed our ISO 9001. ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications, with distinction, for another three years. This achievement reaffirms our dedication to environmental sustainability and quality across every aspect of our operations.

Finalists at the Global Victoria Women’s Award

We were honored to be finalists at the Governor of Victoria Exporter Awards, with CEO Carolina Hinojosa nominated for the Global Victoria Women’s Award, and Duratray receiving recognition for the Resources and Energy category. These nominations reflect our global footprint and impact.

SDB Electric Fleet Success

Our Suspended Dump Body (SDB) has successfully completed extensive trials with a new electric truck, demonstrating remarkable results. The SDB not only excels in traditional haul trucks but also offers significant advantages for electric fleets. The significantly reduced impact and vibration of the Duratray Suspended Dump Body system contributes to enhanced life of lithium batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, and electronic componentry, hence SDBs are an ideal complement to these vehicles.

Fleet Expansion & New Territories

2024 marked the expansion of our footprint into new countries, including Angola, the DRC, Germany, Sweden, and the Philippines. Additionally, we dispatched new fleets to clients in Australia, South Africa, and Papua New Guinea. We are also proud to announce another fleet renewal with South32 at their GEMCO mine in the Northern Territory, continuing a relationship that has thrived for over 30 years.
