Sistema de Isolamento de Carga Suspensa
Engineered for Performance, Efficiency, and Versatility
The Duratray Suspended Load Isolation System (previously referred to as Suspended Dump Bodies, or SDB) is a unique, lightweight architecture demonstrating a wide range of benefits tailored to specific mine and quarry applications.
This includes abrasion negation, volumetric efficiency gains, parasitic load elimination, reduced maintenance costs, bio-mechanical isolation for operators, kinetic energy dissipation, and significant acoustic power attenuation, making it an environmentally sustainable solution.
This design concept replaces outdated steel trays that are obsolete compared to the Suspended Load Isolation System architecture. By swapping conventional steel floors and associated impact media with a Viscoelastic Hysteresis Interface suspended on elastomeric ropes anchored to a structural space skeleton, the system delivers superior dynamic integrity. Suspended Load Isolation Systems feature sprung mass optimisation and offer higher volumetric capacity than standard steel designs. They are installed on 30 to 360-tonne trucks across all major OEMs, including, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi.

Truncamento de Pico de Força
The unique system architecture provides high-frequency vibration decoupling, actively reducing shock loads on the dump truck frame and the driver during loading operations by 40%.
Special body structure
The special body structure allows to reduce shock loads on the dump truck frame during loading operations by 40%
Factors influencing ergonomics
Factors affecting the ergonomics of work during loading and unloading operations: reduction of the compression load on the spine of the dump truck operator by 40% and the noise level by 15% (by 14dB).

Health & Safety of Operators
The Duratray Suspended Load Isolation System delivers notable safety benefits by actively mitigating Whole Body Vibration (WBV) and noise exposure.
The flexible Viscoelastic Hysteresis Interface converts kinetic energy into heat, cutting vertical impact g-forces by up to 50%. This bio-mechanical isolation results in a smoother ride and significantly less spinal stress during loading.
In trials, vibration levels measured 0.259m/sec², compared to 0.611m/sec² for a steel body – a 57.6% reduction. Under EU guidelines, this extends the operator’s safe exposure time from 5.38 to 29.81 hours – a 454% improvement. At various Australian mines, the system cut vibration by nearly 50% during the violence of loading.
Acoustic Power Attenuation for a Less Stressful Ride
The Chassis Preservation System significantly cuts noise pollution both outside the truck and inside the cab. Following installation, in-cab noise dropped by 5.5 decibels – from 92.3 dB(A) to 86.8 dB(A). Operating on a logarithmic scale, this represents a 64% reduction in perceived loudness. Less noise ensures less fatigue, better operator focus, and a safer environment.
Parasitic Load Elimination for Safer Operations
By virtually eliminating carryback, the system increases the truck availability and removes the hazardous requirement for manual clearing or the deployment of additional heavy equipment in the direct firing line of the truck.
Hardware Assurance and Reliability
High-frequency vibration decoupling protects critical truck components, safeguarding delicate autonomy sensors and electric batteries, improving fleet reliability, and lowering the risk of catastrophic breakdowns.
