In May, Duratray President Manuel Medel and COO Steve Hall attended the annual CIM Convention & Expo 2022 in Vancouver, Canada.
Over four days, Manuel and Steve caught up with past and current clients from the Americas region while enjoying an impressive line-up of speakers, a comprehensive exhibition of nearly 450 companies showcasing the latest in mining equipment, tools, technology and services, and a number of lively networking events.
With an attendance of 5,500 delegates, the CIM Convention & Expo positioned itself as Canada’s premier mining trade show. After two years of cancellations and lockdowns, Canadian and international delegates were enthusiastic to be meeting face-to-face.
In Canada’s Arctic north, north-east of Yellowknife, Duratray fleets are continuing successful operations at the three large diamond mines – Ekati, Diavik and Gahcho Kué. Preparations are commencing for the supply of spare parts via the annual Ice Road, which will open in January 2023 for the transport of supplies across many frozen lakes and rivers.
Duratray International will be exhibiting at CIM 2023, which will be held in Montréal from 30th April to 3rd May.
